Who we are
When Laura wanted to add a little extra enchantment to her wedding day, she thought of every fairytale she had ever read. She imagined elegant white gloved hands popping out of a living hedge at the ring of a bell. But when she couldn’t find anything in real life to suit her needs, she eagerly called on her fiancé Joey and their incredibly talented friend Alex to make her dreams come true. The three California-based designers—each bursting with a unique flair for the delightfully unexpected—and each with their own unique skill sets— enthusiastically joined forces to create The Tipsy Garden. The dazzling result? Guests were welcomed to Laura & Joey’s wedding by this beautifully hand-crafted garden wall. Their friends and family delighted in ringing the bell and receiving their glass of champagne all evening.
And now we want to share our creation with you!
Laura is originally from New Jersey, but has lived in LA for the last several years pursing a career in entertainment. She is a dedicated Philly sports fan, an avid romantasy reader and can often be found walking around her home with a tape measure (which Joey keeps trying to hide)
Joey is born and raised in California, so yes, he surfs, skates and meditates. He has a deep passion for volunteer work, a compulsion to pet every dog he sees and a love of craft beer.
Alex works in post-production in the entertainment industry in LA. When he’s not on a job, he can be found building things from a 1968 Ford Mustang to a kegerator, at a car show, cooking in the kitchen or often at Joey & Laura’s house.
